The Top Areas of B2B Marketing-Sales Alignment That Need Improvement

A recent research from Convince & Convert and Ascend2 found that B2B marketers and salespeople have different opinions on which areas need the most improvement between Marketing and Sales. According to the survey of 346 professionals, B2B marketers believe feedback between the two groups needs the most improvement, while B2B salespeople think target accounts need the most attention.

Both groups agree that lack of time is the biggest obstacle to alignment. Other areas that need improvement include regular joint meetings, lead quality review, content planning, budget planning, and more.

The report was based on a survey of 346 B2B marketing and sales professionals, 79% of which were at manager level or higher.
