What Workers Want From Their Employers Right Now

As the COVID-19 pandemic forces people to adjust to a new reality, research from Glint has shown that employees are looking for more support from their employers in managing work-life balance and for more flexibility with working from home. According to a June 2020 survey, 77% of employees are very or extremely interested in more support from their employer, and 74% are very or extremely interested in flexible work-from-home/remote work options.

When it comes to returning to the office, employees and managers both cite staying healthy and safe as their top concern. However, only 49% of employees are interested in permanent remote work options.

The report was based on data from employee and manager surveys conducted in June 2020. It highlights the need for employers to provide more support and flexibility to their employees during these difficult times.
