The Biggest Driver of Your Business Value (Hint: It's Not Top Management)

Although the C-suite and executive team provide leadership and direction, project managers (PMs) are the ones responsible for driving value at an agency. To maximize their potential, PMs need access to the right data and tools, and the flexibility to adapt to different projects. They should also have a thorough understanding of all project parameters and be able to provide accurate insights, reporting, and forecasting.

A dynamic approach helps PMs recognize no two clients or projects are the same and adjust timelines, budgets, and teams along the way. This allows them to become strategic advisors to clients, build trust, and create new business opportunities. PMs should also have full and complete accountability across all external-facing elements to maintain accuracy and quality throughout the process.

Project managers are often overlooked when it comes to driving value at an agency, but when given the right tools and empowered, they can have a direct impact on clients and the business. This helps clients make more informed decisions, and saves money and resources while building trust with the agency.
