SEO — Tue., May. 13, 2025In 2024, researchers analyzed 10,000 SEO job listings and found that 59% were mid-level roles, 45% were on-site, and 65% were in-house.
The average annual salary for these positions was $67,000, with VP of SEO roles earning the highest average salary of $191,850.
The most commonly listed skills were technical SEO, content marketing, and data analytics. The report was based on job listings from leading marketplaces.
