What B2B Firms Use Marketing Agencies For

B2B firms often seek outside agencies for help with search engine marketing, social media management, brand mission development and brand messaging. According to recent research from Provoke Insights, 23% of B2B respondents turn to agencies for search engine marketing, 21% for social media community management, and more for tradeshow marketing compared to B2C companies.

For brand strategy initiatives, B2B companies hire agencies for brand mission development, brand messaging development and brand positioning work. 1,638 professionals from a mix of B2B, B2C and B2B-B2C hybrid companies were surveyed for the report.

B2C companies are more likely to use agencies for television commercials compared to B2B companies. Understanding the differences between B2B and B2C companies and their respective marketing strategies is important for businesses to succeed.
