SEMrush analyzed tweets and Google searches related to content marketing in 2020, uncovering the most popular hashtags (#digitalmarketing, #marketing, #seo, and #growthhacking) and topics (strategy, SEO, and social media). Additionally, the most popular Google search queries and questions related to content marketing were revealed.

The report found that the most popular search queries related to content marketing were “content marketing strategy,” “content marketing agency,” “content marketing examples,” and “content marketing institute.” Meanwhile, the most popular search questions related to content marketing were “what is content marketing?”, “why is content marketing important?” and “what is content marketing strategy?”

SEMrush conducted the study by analyzing more than 600,000 popular tweets and hundreds of thousands of Google searches related to content marketing in 2020. The results provide useful insight into the most popular trends in content marketing.
