According to Marketing Week's Career & Salary Survey, over half of surveyed marketers have experienced burnout in the past year, feeling overwhelmed, undervalued, and emotionally exhausted.

The three main challenges contributing to this burnout are a lack of purpose, the increasing granularity of metrics, and the strict guardrails placed on creativity.

To combat this burnout, marketers are encouraged to reconnect with the impact of their work, focus on controllable input-based goals, and find creative outlets outside of work.
