According to a survey by GNW Consulting and Demand Metric, 31% of marketing leaders report failed or neutral results from martech implementations. Common challenges include change management, team misalignment, and post-implementation adoption.
When faced with failed or neutral implementations, respondents cited additional investments in training and hiring consultants as necessary. To avoid future failures, they suggest post-implementation support, comprehensive training, and access to better-trained consultants.
The survey, conducted in January and February 2025, included 174 marketing leaders and highlights the importance of addressing challenges and investing in proper training and support for successful martech implementations.
