More than one-fourth of public relations and communications professionals say they are already using generative AI tools to craft press release content, according to recent research.
Journalists value news announcements/press releases and original research reports from PR professionals. Cision surveyed 3,016 journalists in 19 countries to determine their preferences for receiving pitches and content.
Imagery is the most commonly used type of multimedia provided by PR pros. Half of journalists receive over 50 pitches per week, and 64% say a PR pro should follow up once on a pitch.
