Virtual Event Trends: Businesses' Future Plans and Top Challenges

Most event professionals say their company is looking to increase or maintain the same number of virtual events in the next 12 months, according to a survey from Airmeet and Forrester.

The survey found that building infrastructure, collecting and using data, and integrating technologies are the top challenges before, during, and after virtual events. Differentiating virtual events was most effective through unique activities, great content, a high-energy host, and personalized experiences.

Finally, the survey showed that metrics such as registration, number of new opportunities and attendees, awareness, and the number of new contacts gathered were the top things measured before, during, and after virtual events.
