The Brands Americans Feel Most Intimately Connected to During COVID-19

Apple, Amazon, and Google are the major brands that US consumers have felt most intimately connected to during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to research by MBLM. Apple was found to be the most 'intimate' brand overall, followed by Amazon and Google. Amazon is the brand that men felt most connected with, while Apple was the brand women felt most connected with.

Americans aged 18-34 felt most connected to Apple during the pandemic, while Americans aged 35-44 felt the most connected to Samsung and Americans aged 45-64 felt the most connected to Amazon. Those with an annual income of $35,000-$100,000 felt most connected to Amazon, while those earning $150,000+ felt most connected to BMW.

The report was based on survey data from 3,000 US consumers, which asked respondents to identify their emotional connections with popular brands and the strength of those bonds. The full methodology can be found here.
