Fully 84% of US consumers have subscribed to receive texts from a business, a significant increase from 2021.
The report, based on a survey of 1,000 consumers and 400 business owners/marketers, shows that consumers prefer receiving texts every other week.
Top reasons for opting in to texts include appointment reminders, order notifications, and discounts; too many texts is the main reason for opting out.
