Marketing and comms pros express concern about inaccurate info from AI tools, legal uncertainties, and data privacy. Productivity is seen as the biggest upside, while job loss is the biggest downside.

AI is currently being used or experimented with for summarizing content. Most respondents are already using AI to some extent in their daily work.

The research is based on a survey of 287 marketers and communications professionals conducted in June 2023.
