My love for email marketing and content marketing has been longstanding. Joe Pulizzi and Brian Piper's Epic Content Marketing has inspired me to share the five trends that will drive the next 10 years of content marketing.

Media will remain democratized, Web3 will be niche, AI-generated content will raise the bar, generative AI will replace some SEO traffic, and email marketing will remain strong. Brands should focus on creating content that is timely, unique, and trustworthy to succeed.

Generative AI holds great promise but marketers should be aware of the concerns it brings. To protect against lost SEO traffic, building strong first-party audiences via email and other channels is key.
