Marketers should take advantage of digital touchpoints to create a positive customer experience. Creative use of unexpected places such as 404 pages, about pages, landing pages, social media, newsletters, and infographics can leave a lasting impression and help to further establish the brand.

For instance, 404 pages can provide additional information, site navigation, or a search bar, or clever phrases, videos, or visuals to underscore the company’s brand. The about page can use interactive content to tell the company’s story, and landing pages should be engaging, persuasive, and easy to navigate. Social media can be made more engaging and unique with quizzes, animations, and games, and newsletters can use dynamic and interactive content to stand out. Infographics can be brought to life with embedded videos or animation.

The customer journey is an important factor to consider, and a moment of unexpected cleverness and creativity can leave a great impression about the brand.
