According to a survey by Collibra and Ascend2, 60% of professionals in data governance and risk/compliance roles have high confidence in their organization's data, while 40% lack confidence.

Organizations with high data confidence are more likely to monitor consistency, assess timeliness, validate formats, and have visibility into data pipelines.

These organizations also have well-established governance roles, standardized policies and terminology, defined KPIs, and a focus on improving data consistency and quality.
