Generative AI Can't Create Great Marketing, But It Can Help

Artificial Intelligence — Wed., May. 24, 2023

Generative AI has been adopted by many marketers as a solution to their budget cuts and layoffs, but it shouldn't replace humans. AI cannot build personal connections with customers, and customers can be skeptical of auto-generated content. To stand out and build authentic human-to-human relationships, marketers should use their own understanding of their audience. Generative AI is useful for brainstorming, researching, and finding popular topics, but it's not a long-term solution.

Podcasts are a great way to showcase human conversation, but AI can help with amplified marketing. It can help identify key takeaways, search a content repository, and compile audience data. Generative AI can help marketers maximize the value and reach of their content, but it cannot replicate the emotion and spontaneity of a human conversation.

The most successful brands are those that maintain a human connection, and customers will be drawn to unique and authentic brands. AI does not capture human emotions and understanding, so marketers should amplify candid conversations and use their own personal touch to create something truly original and authentically human.
