According to recent research from DSMN8, even small changes to LinkedIn content can have a big positive impact on engagement by employees. The report was based on data from over 500,000 posts in various industries and locations.

Posts with small edits (99% similarity to original) on LinkedIn get three times more engagement than unedited ones. Images are the most commonly shared type of content, but text-only posts tend to get the most engagement.

Those with 5,000-10,000 followers on LinkedIn get the most engagement on their advocacy posts. The report was based on data from over 500,000 posts and employees in different industries and locations.
