Now in 2025, the latest Mediaocean report shows that 72% of marketers consider generative AI (GenAI) as the most important consumer trend. GenAI is being applied broadly, from data analysis to website development, and is expected to have a broader impact on workflow and strategy.

The current moment is defined by integration and orchestration, with GenAI no longer just a tool but a thread woven throughout disciplines. The "run" adoption phase has begun, and the pace is picking up, already changing how work gets done.
